Autumn Picture of Brown, Dry Dead Leaves on a Tree

About the Picture

Closeup picture of some last leaves hanging from the tree in Autumn. Brown, dry dead leaves that are about to fall, and that’s when autumn will turn into winter.

There was this one leaf on a tree I wanted to take the picture of, and here it is, on this picture.

To be honest, I don’t remember if it rained the same day when I took this image, but when it comes to autumn, macro and closeup photography; there is nothing more beautiful than autumnal leaves with water drops.

I think leaves and water drops are so beautiful, it makes me go back in that sometimes and think of some opportunities when I had a chance to photographs water drops on fallen leaves, and I lost it. Most probably many more wasted chances are about to come in the future, right?

Golden glow, some of the sepia tones, dry leaf on a tree that’s about to fall – all those elements are those melancholic moments of Autumn.

Sad moments, but they have this uniqueness and beauty at the same time. That is so hard to describe.

Fresh leaves are quite strong and not so easy to break.

Dry leaves, on the other hand, are very delicate, the texture is different and you need to treat them with special care if you don’t want them to break apart. The same leaf but also not the same anymore.

This picture belongs to the collection of fall & leaves images, so in case you need a different picture you will find them here.
