This picture was taken on a beautiful hike to Elfin Lakes in Garibaldi Provincial Park in BC, Canada. An amazing around 9 hours hike (both ways) on which you can have a nice swim in the lake when you get to final destination.
In British Columbia there are many great hikes to enjoy. Many of them located within 2 hours drive from Vancouver. Elfin Lakes is certainly one of my favorite hikes and I certainly recommend it for anybody, it’s not a hard one but you will have a chance to enjoy beautiful views as most of the hike is on the open space. This picture was taken when taking the last turn before reaching to the final destination, Elfin Lakes. One lake contains drinkable water and another is for anybody who’s willing to dive in and have a swim. I did swim and it was a great refreshment before heading back down. It’s also where you can stay overnight and campgrounds are located within 5 minutes walk from lakes.
