Yellow Rose Flower: The Symbol of Friendship and Joy

About the Image:

Photographing flowers is a great joy, it’s when I often notice how unique each flower is, how nature gives us things we would not be able to imagine they can exist. But when it comes to roses, they are known to us for quite a while, and each color has it’s own symbol, what about yellow roses, right?

Yellow roses have a deeper meaning that goes far beyond their bright, cheerful appearance. In the beautiful world of flowers, they symbolize friendship, joy but also new beginnings.

They are often a safe gift for others, always communicating positivity, and I believe, can hide some romance to it, especially when a person giving it is quite too shy to give a red rose.

Red roses, they send romantic message, when yellow roses communicate admiration, cheerfulness and platonic affection, which I think can often have double meaning. In a positive sense.

Middle East, that’s where they were first cultivated, but the flower traveled across many cultures, and I think what’s believed in most of them, they always convey positive sentiments, such as joy, renewal and are perfect for moments of celebration, great gift to congratulate a friend on an achievement or to add brightness to ones life.

Do you agree with me?

Well, I wanted to share with you an interesting fun fact. When it comes to Victorian era, the times when flower symbolism was extremely popular, yellow roses were associated with jealousy or infidelity. But it’s the thing of the past, so don’t worry about it. It’s just a fun fact about the past.

The free picture of a yellow rose I share with you here, can be a great addition to a blog post, a web article that’s not only flower related, but content about joy, happiness, and celebration. Content that supposed to evoke feelings of comfort, cheerfulness with a touch of nature’s tranquility and positivity. A good image for nature, wellness, or friendship related blog posts.
