About the Picture
Torii Gates of Fushimi Inari-Taisha Shrine, which is located in Kyoto, Japan. A very beautiful place, so famous among tourists for many reasons! Here I share a free picture of some of over 10,000 Torii Gates that can be found in Fushimi Inari-Taisha Shrine.
Many tourists would visit Fushimi Inari Shrine after watching one of the Hollywood movies called “Memoirs of a Geisha”, which is an adaptation of a book, written by American writer, a historical-fiction.
But the movie is not the only reason why so many tourists visit the place. It’s certainly a very beautiful shrine, located in the mountains where many travelers come to see 10,000 (red/orange) torii gates, but it’s said that over 32,000 gates can actually be found in the shrine.
When traveling Japan, you have to pay to enter most of the shrines, and Fushimi Inari is among those to which entrance is free, and that’s another great reason for tourists to come and see it.
Also, people would visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine to pray to the God of Abundant Crops to be successful in anything that success means to the person.
For some, it might be business growth, but for some to simply have an abundant life. So when you visit the place, don’t forget to say a prayer for abundant life for yourself!
The Shrine is over 1000 years old and it’s very worth visiting.
This picture you can download for free to use on your blog or web article. If you are in search for Japan-related images, please check this collection where more pictures can be found from my travel to Japan.
Fushimi Inari Shrine as it’s famous for torii gates, you can also find many statues of foxes. They are servants of God Inari. Who doesn’t love foxes, right?
While in Japan you can also visit a fox village!
