Beautiful Temple of Debod in Madrid. An Egyptian Temple, originally constructed in the 2nd century BC near Aswan in Egypt, it was dedicated to the gods Amun and Isis. As a gesture of gratitude for Spain’s assistance in saving monuments threatened by the Aswan Dam’s construction, Egypt gifted the temple to Spain in 1968.

Madrid’s bustling cityscape is home to many attractions, but one that stands out for its unique historical significance is the Temple of Debod.
