Friendly Raccoon

This week we are going to start with the picture of the most friendly racoon I have met so far. What’s your favourite animal?

Living in Vancouver you can find many racoons, they are quite everywhere however, I was always kind of “scared” to come close to them (one might wonder why). This special one I met at Prospect Point in Stanley Park, and it seemed like it’s the place where he resides and enjoys time with tourists – hoping to get any food he can get. He is certainly a big attraction for tourists there, who I’m not sure if they spend more time enjoying the beautiful view of West Vancouver, or watching and photographing this cute animal. Or who knows… maybe the raccoon was also one of the tourists, enjoying people, people he thought they reside there… Seems like today is dedicated to our beautiful friends, racoons!
